Hi. We are husband and wife team Pieter & Natasha. Pieter born South African and Natasha Russian/British. We were blessed to have met during our travels in Bali a few years ago when Pieter was there learning about sustainable bamboo building and Natasha came there for a meditation retreat. Since then we've gotten married and have been living and working on various community projects around South Africa.
In addition to baking our own sourdough bread every day, Pieter also has experience working in a informal community kitchen where 400 and even up to 2000 meals were prepared daily.
Pieter is a retired Paramedic, firefighter and rescue technician with 2 decades experience working on ambulances in Pretoria's metropolitan area, including serving many projects all over Africa as remote site medic in countries ranging from Sudan, Congo, Namibia, Zambia, Mozambique and others.
Being an adventurer at heart Pieter solo traveled Africa by motorbike and also enjoy paragliding, skydiving, hiking and camping.
Now focusing on organic soil rehabilitation with keen DIY handyman skills, Pieter enjoy helping empower others. Pieter can also build water-less dry toilets for communities where water is a scarce resource plus teach how to make the dry resources needed to use in these water-less toilets.
Pieter is also a patient driving instructor for cars of all sizes, manual or auto transmission, left or right hand drive.
Pieter's speciality now is to revive soil organically through making different types of organic compost. Most importantly Pieter can make and teach others how to make and use organic soil additives like biochar and worm castings / worm tea to rehabilitate or boost depleted soils and maximize food nutrient densities and output.
Natasha born in Russia, also lived in UK for a decade (with dual British/Russian citizenship) is a passionate linguist and dedicated spiritual student who loves cooking healthy salubrious vegetarian meals. Fluent in Russian and English, Natasha's keen studying of also French, Spanish, Sanskrit and soon Italian comes in handy when exploring new cuisines and cultures exchanges as well. Natasha is experienced in sewing, making clothes, creating art and even facilitate art therapy for individuals and groups. Auditor by profession, with also experience in the private banking sector Natasha's attention to detail serves well in all aspects of community service.

Together we've been engrossed in deep meditation and Kriya yoga practices whilst serving South African communities in Cape Town and Durban's South coast & North coast. Our home project is on the Bhakti Marga ashram near Durban, South Africa, where we help the ashram create new organic food gardens to help feed the local community.
Natasha and I decided to give up our 9-5 jobs seeing we are still very active outdoors and are still young enough to use this new freedom phase of our lives to embark on international travels & pilgrimages. We want to serve and share what we've learnt and also keen to learn from others. We love animals, big and small, and have been living in nature/farms for 8 years now.
Both of us can also assist with computer skills/working on Microsoft and Apple Mac. Pieter helps with basic website creation, while we both can help create and post content for sharing on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and X(twitter).Interests
