Our next destination:
Sweden - from Jul 2025 until Sep 2025 View allDescription
We are Robin & Sanne. We're 32 and 36 years old and have been together for 2 years.
We've been living in Hengelo (Netherlands) in an appartment for the last 16 months where we really miss the outdoor and nature around us.
Working culture in the Netherlands is not exactly relaxing for us and we're trying to find a way to break free from the system (we both work in healtcare), get closer to nature and to ourselves by making a trip for around half a year (starting in july '25), preferably around likeminded people. We're starting our journey by going to Sweden and proceeding from there.
Sanne loves gardening and used to own a vegetable garden in her previous hometown. She loves being in the outdoor and walking through nature where she enjoys the company of butterflies, singing birds and other critters. She's a highly sensitive, caring, social and spiritual person.
Robin is a caring and social person and also loves to be around nature and visiting al kinds of different places. He's got a love for Japan and Japanese cuisine. He loves the escapism of adventure gaming (zelda, pokemon, final fantasy) and collect manga (japanese comics).
We're both open minded and love to learn new skills and connect with nature. We would like to learn more about a self-sufficient way of living and respecting nature around us.
We're trying to take on a more conscient way of living by trying to avoid most processed foods in the supermarket. Sanne has been making sourdough bread weekly from a sourdough starter and we stife to someday have our own home close to nature where we can grow and harvest our own food.
Robin can speak english, a tiny bit of japanese and Sanne can understand English mostly, but is not very proficient in the English language.
Sanne is a bit afraid of dogs.
If you're intrested in our story and would like to connect feel free to message us.
We wish you a wonderful day.
