Hi all!

We are Renate and Elise, 2 life-long friends from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We've travelled together across Europe and are looking for our next adventure. We have a big heart for people and animals and both of us love volunteering( Renate with the homeless community and Elise with kids). We are fluent in Dutch and English and have some knowledge of Swedish, Italian and German. We love learning about different cultures and are keen to meet new people. We love any and all sports/outdoor activities and regularly run, gym, boulder and do martial arts together. Excited to meet you!

Combined skills:
Both of us have experience in hospitality and management. We know how to organise events, serve food and drink, clean and bartend. After 10+ years of friendship we have become great communicators (we can't quite read each others minds yet but we're getting there) and can accomplish any task around the house/property. Both of us are sporty as well, we don't mind manual labour and are generally not picky.

Elise's skills:
Elise has worked professionally in construction for a year and knows her way around a project. She also has a dog and can take care of animals. She's been on the board for her engineering student association and knows how to manage people and complete projects. She volunteers with children and is good at babysitting and entertaining kids. She also has a driver's license.

Renate's skills:
Renate has a degree in chemical engineering, which helps her both with cleaning and bartending. She has worked at a pub for 4 years and did every job there from cleaner to chef to waitress to bartender. She volunteers with the homeless community in The Hague and manages the volunteers, rallying people to help out with preparing and serving food on the streets. She is also a (half-)marathon runner and language learning enthusiast. She currently works for the Ocean Cleanup, helping the rid the oceans of plastic!

What else ...

Elise is training to be on the diving division of the firebrigade and is improving her swimming skils. She loves adventurous stories and is a real nature lover.

Renate loves a good card game and is a music enthusiast (especially the 70s-80s). Favorites are Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Velvet Underground and Dire Straits (and many, many more)
