Description
Hello!
My name is Radu, I’m 32 years old and I come from Romania. I work as an Automotive Engineer, but in the last period I’ve been focusing more on exploring the world and experiencing different cultures.
I enjoy hiking, traveling, running, biking, dancing, and going to theatre and cinema. I’ve completed 10km, half marathon (21km), and marathon (42km) races, so I’m used to discipline and pushing my limits.
Recently, I spent 5 months traveling across Asia — Sri Lanka, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam,Cambodia, Indonesia and Japan. Some of my best memories include hiking through tea plantations in Sri Lanka, exploring the jungle in Thailand, doing the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam, visiting temples in Cambodia, hiking volcanoes in Indonesia and living the slow life in Japan.
I’m easy-going, respectful, and adaptable. I like meeting new people, but I’m also comfortable working independently. I don’t mind physical work, and I enjoy being useful and contributing to the place I stay in.
For me, this experience is not just about travel, but about connection — with people, culture, and everyday life in a new place. -

More details about your skills
I grew up spending a lot of time at my grandparents' home in the countryside, where I helped with a wide variety of tasks. These included caring for animals, working in the fields, collecting hay, harvesting potatoes, corn, grapes, plums, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers, as well as assisting with maintenance and small renovation projects around the house and garden.
I have been living independently for more than 10 years, which has taught me to be self-reliant and responsible. I am comfortable with everyday household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, ironing, and taking care of a home.
I also volunteered for three years, working with children through creative, sports, and personal development activities. During my final year, I joined the volunteer training team, helping to onboard new volunteers and organize activities and events.
Professionally, I have worked in engineering for several years. I started in the chemical industry before moving into electronics testing. Over the last three years, I have been responsible for planning and coordinating testing activities, managing more than 70 pieces of equipment, and working closely with different teams to ensure projects ran smoothly.
Beyond my professional background, I enjoy learning new skills, meeting people from different cultures, and contributing wherever help is needed. Whether it is practical outdoor work, maintenance projects, organizing activities, or everyday household tasks, I am happy to get involved and learn. -
