I work as a language teacher with young adults in a public school in Switzerland. My interests are multiple: enjoying seaside life, snorkeling, be out in nature (hiking, biking), yoga, dancing, drawing, playing the accordeon, singing, reading, sitting in coffeeshops and of course hanging out with friends and family. Besides, I am a food lover:) One of my biggest passions are learning languages and traveling, discovering new places, exploring other countries, cultures, ways of life.
My kids are now both adults and me still full of energy and interests which allows me to travel more and do extended stays. Before my kids, I did several civil service experiences in Switzerland and abroad (farming, childcare, environmental organisation) in order to support different projects and to learn languages.
I am a teacher in my professional life (and I worked as an scientific assistant for migration policy for several years), my other interests are music, danse and sports. I also have my own airbnb place running, so I am used to share space and experiences with travelers and taking care of guests. As a former student of art school creativity is an integral part of my life. Curiosity is another important part of my personality and lead me through good and bad moments ever since;)
In 2025, I embarked on a sabbatical year, which first took me first to the beautiful island of Sardinia and other parts of Italy for several months. I left me with wonderful memories of the people, experiences and nature there😊.
During the second half of my sabbatical I would like to explore other regions of Europe as well as parts of the world outside of Europe.

I am a quiet and sociable person, that respects one's privacy. I don't smoke.

I teach languages (German, French, English) and worked as an allrounder researcher. I also have an artistic background ( 1 year of art school) and solid IT skills. As an young adult I used to help out at farm houses.
I am sporty and do different kinds of sport (dance and fitness, yoga, bike, hiking) on a regular base.
Unfortunately, I can't drive;)
