Description
Hello everyone,
We are looking to get our hands dirty! We are here to learn about natural building methods with clay (cob) and wood. It would be great to have an exchange in this field.
We´re also interested in gardening, especially permaculture and food forests, as a means of self sufficient living. Besides work we can also offer to make art, music and cakes!
Fabian (33): As someone working mainly outdoors in touch with the seasons I´ve gotten increasingly aware of the different cycles and of the importance to take care of our eco-systems.
In recent years I´ve been working as a wine maker, mainly focussing on vineyard work (growing healthy plants to produce quality grapes , harvest, etc.) besides working in the cellar. I was also helping out in the olive harvest in South Pelopponese and got to know the steps of oil production in a small mill.
Lately I´ve become more curious about cob and clay building and self sufficient living. The idea to visit communities who practice alternative ways of life has been on my mind for a while.
Sophia (27 F) : I'm a visual artist from South of France (currently living in Athens). My work mainly focuses on sculpting with paper and other recycled materials. I am curious to explore the different ways of living closer to nature by helping others out.
