Hi I'm Penny!

I am a 20 year old student studying Psychology and I was able to spend my previous semester studying in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I spent the summer of 2024 volunteering with workaway and had a wonderful time meeting travelers and hosts alike.

I'm seeking travel, cultural exchange and new experiences. Learning new things makes me happy and I want to pick up new skills. I'm a fast learner and put effort into being helpful and friendly. I want to meet people and make friends outside of my home: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

My previous experiences with cultural exchange inspire me. I greatly enjoyed hosting a French student and I'm grateful for the wealth of knowledge she brought to my family. I want to have another experience similar to this and explore new friendships and opportunities.

I previously worked as an assistant in a Physical Therapy office and have experience with leadership and problem-solving. I work well with people of all ages especially the elderly.

I worked for one year at a children's jungle gym and I get along quite well with children.

I'm physically able and willing to get my hands dirty/help with physical labor. I have experience taking care of animals as I have had dogs/cats/rodents throughout my life. Additionally I'm not afraid of large animals such as horses as I have been around them since I was a child. I'm open to learning any new skills and I have a solid understanding of household chores/etiquette.

I love playing piano, though I have no formal training. I like to make crafts and consider myself a creative person. I also enjoy singing and dancing. I'm a former gymnast and feel best when I'm moving my body and doing physical activity. I enjoy running and going to the gym.
