Description

Hi! We are Pelle and Vera, a couple from the Netherlands and Germany. We enjoy being in nature and spotting wildlife. Hiking, climbing and singing are some of our favourite hobbies. We´re both vegan and environmentally minded and really want to learn about the culture in South America. Amongst other things, we are interested in learning more about gardening and self-sustainability and don´t mind getting our hands dirty:)

More details about my language interests
We would love to learn Spanish, while we travel around South America. If wanted we can teach Dutch and German, which are our native languages. If someone wants to improve their beginner level of English, we could help with that as well.

We are both very sporty, don´t mind manual labour, are fast learners and have a good work ethic. We both have driver´s licences.

Pelle has a master´s degree in Biology and has a lot of experience with animals, including identifying and studying them. He is good with computers and works very thoroughly since he worked in a lab a lot.
In his free time he likes wood working and drawing. He also worked in ecological consultancy.

Vera has a master´s degree in Architecture and Urban Design and is therefore also good with computers especially Adobe and CAD programs. She has worked in a wood workshop and on a construction site for several weeks due to her studies. During a work and travel year, she worked for couple of months in different jobs in New Zealand like farm work with animals and fruits, waitressing and in a motel. In her free time she is crafting and drawing a lot and plays the piano.

What else ...

We like playing card and board games and cooking vegan meals. Also we love singing together and Vera plays the piano and Pelle the harmonica.
