Description

I have a masters in criminology & have been living in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada and Central America! Against everyone's expectations I still don't know what to do and live for travelling around the world and meeting new people, having new experiences, going surfing and spending time outdoors :)
I'm happy help with whatever is needed & I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Now I want to spend a couple of months in Morocco before leaving for another working holiday visa to Japan!

This place is a real gem! I ended up staying a lot longer than originally planned - Ninon, the other volunteers and the local people make this place feel like home. You'll have a great time! Hernan & Dan are super chill and easy to communicate with. The shifts are relaxed as well and consist of 4 hours/5 times a week. You'll sleep in a volunteer dorm (up to 4) with fans. There'll be plenty of time to surf and hang out with the other volunteers of playa gigante :)

I had a great time. The owners and the whole team are all super friendly and helpful locals. You get your own private room about 5min from work, 3 meals a day and can use the surfboards, too.

This is a cute family hostel with a huge garden and pool. Mario, Hannah and the other volunteers were really nice and work hasn't been much - for me it was mainly waiting for check-ins and managing the availability on booking.com / hostelworld. I had an amazing time here. Everyone was super welcoming, helpful and relaxed. The place is small and feels like home from day 1. You're sharing the room with 2 other people and have your own fan & mosquito net to keep you comfortable! Elke's place is a little oasis right at the coast. I had a great time helping with stuff around the house, the barn, the garden and the animals. Elke welcomed me immediately and is full of stories & knowledge about Newfoundland. I can only recommend this place ☺️
