I am an engineer from Spain currently taking time to step back, reflect, and explore how I can contribute in meaningful ways. Curious and open-minded, I enjoy discovering new environments and finding where I can add value, both professionally and personally.

These days, you’ll find me at a small workshop working as a quality engineer, dealing with day-to-day problem-solving and making things run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Being communicative and open is a big part of it, making sure everyone’s on the same page and decisions are made together. I am also not afraid to get hands-on when things need sorting out which, in a workshop, happens more often than not.

At uni, I had the chance to work with several research groups, both in Spain and Scotland, which became a highlight of my academic years. These experiences shaped the way I think and how I approach tasks and challenges. I learned to navigate uncertainty and find my way through unfamiliar situations. The process of learning and discovering new things is something I have always genuinely valued and enjoyed.

During a three-month stay in a rural town in Australia, I worked as a retailer at a local supermarket, which gave me real insight into everyday life and allowed me to get to know and connect with the community. However, my fondest memory from that time was working in the garden my host family was just starting. I am especially proud of having contributed, in a small but meaningful way, to my host family’s home by laying the foundations (setting up and painting the fence, and preparing the ground) for what is now a beautiful garden.

Most recently, I obtained my yoga certifications. What began as a personal practice to get me moving has, over the years, grown into something much more meaningful. This journey inspired me to deepen my understanding so that I could share it with others. And I now occasionally, lead small classes for friends and family.
