Description
Hi! I’m a curious and open-minded person from Taiwan. I love experiencing anything that’s new to me, because it brings me out of my usual zone and gives me new sensations to connect with the world. I’m also a nature lover, especially into reptiles. I’ve always felt close to the natural world, especially the place where water and land meet, but growing up in the city made me forget that for a while. When I went to university in southern Taiwan to study philosophy, I reconnected with nature again. The school was surrounded by mountains and pineapple fields. During that time, I started to keep reptiles at home, like lizards, geckos, frogs, and snakes. I love their textures, patterns, changing colors, and the way they calmly blend into their environment — their way of existing really inspired me. They remind me there are many ways to be alive beyond the human POV. Taking care of reptiles also taught me to think in a different way. I can’t just use the same mindset as with people or dogs and cats(mammals). Things like feeding, temperature, and humidity all depend on the animal’s natural habits, and it’s usually different from what I was used to. Keeping reptiles also helped me stop being afraid of creatures like cockroaches or mice, I started to see them just as part of the environment. My past work and animal care experiences taught me to be patient, adaptable, and flexible in new situations.

More details about your skills
I studied philosophy at a countryside university, which trained me to think flexibly and see situations from diverse perspectives. I believe this mindset has helped me a lot, especially when working with different people or adapting to unfamiliar tasks.
I have worked both at a reptile shop and as a reptile keeper for a private education company. I gained practical experience taking care of reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals, including feeding, cleaning, maintaining healthy environments, and advising customers on animal care and products. And i also have some lizards, gecko, frogs, and python as family members at home.
Beyond animal care, I also have skills in hospitality, from bartending to kitchen prep and service. Working in a bar and an underground music venue made me more comfortable handling busy or unpredictable situations and communicating with people from different backgrounds.
In high school, I also volunteered in Vietnam, helping build school facilities and organize activities. That experience taught me the value of teamwork and how to be resourceful even with limited tools.
I feel calm and confident working independently, but I’m also a team player, and I’m always curious to learn new things.
