Description
Hi there, Hola, Bonjour, Halo!
I'm Noa, a finishing master student in archaeology who cannot live without the feeling of entering a low carbon transport to discover new horizons. I have my fair share of travel experience but am hungry for more and would love to meet lovely humans through authentic interactions such as helping each other and diverse projects !
To the person reading this description, I wish a wonderful day !

As you may not know, Belgium has three official languages: French, German, and Dutch. I’m from Brussels, where people speak both French and Dutch, so I learned from a young age that being able to switch between languages is essential. I’ve also studied in several countries, and some of my closest friends speak Thai, Spanish, Bahasa, and more. I’ve always been surrounded by the beauty of languages and how they open doors to different cultures. Thanks to this background, I have a better understanding of what it’s like to learn a new language. This allows me to use the right tools—and a lot of patience—to teach my mother tongue, French.

More details about your skills
One of my qualities is that I’m hardworking and always willing to do my best and get the job done well. I’ve had many jobs involving customer interaction, so I know how to handle stressful situations while staying friendly and calm with both customers and coworkers!
I’m also studying archaeology, so getting dirty and working in the soil is no problem for me! I’m naturally proactive—if a task doesn’t feel quite right for me or if I need extra clarification, I’ll make sure to ask and find a way to be useful.

What else ...
I’m a very crafty person and have always loved art in all its forms. Even though I’m clearly not a musician or a singer (unless you want it to start raining), I really loooove painting, drawing, collaging—basically anything creative. I was lucky enough to always be surrounded by art, and along the way, I picked up some useful skills like knitting, crocheting, and sewing. I find it delightful to open the doors to creativity, and I’ll definitely enjoy any tasks related to that!
No surprise here, considering I’m on this website, but traveling is probably my biggest passion. Lately, I’ve been exploring more international and alternative music, and who knows—maybe that’ll become my next obsession!
And, of course, a big part of who I am is my deep interest in anti-racism, feminism, and fighting against all forms of discrimination. I attend talks, performances, read, and engage in activism to help make the world a more understanding and fair place. Climate justice is also something I deeply care about, and I’d be more than happy to have long, passionate conversations about it while helping you on your Workaway journey!
