During my gap year, I plan to travel to South and Central Asia for a few months, starting in late February or early March. I'm open to various types of work but am particularly interested in a Workaway experience at a school or in a hotel/hostel.
I really love walking and hiking, reading, writing (I also hope to use my travels to finish my novel and find inspiration for future projects), philosophy, learning languages, playing sports (basketball, soccer, martial arts ...) and dancing. To me, solo travel is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in different cultures and gain deeper understanding of what truly matters in life.

My past volunteer experience includes tutoring middle and high school students, assisting in organizing holiday camps for underage refugees and migrants, teaching Slovenian and English at a local NGO, leading a creative writing workshop, helping at a film festival, and photography.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in German and Czech language and literature. I am fluent in Slovenian (my native language), English, Czech, and German, and I can assist with teaching and translating these languages. With a strong interest in writing, film, and theatre, I would also be happy to help organize activities related to these fields. Also, I have been training breakdance since childhood and would be glad to teach kids some basic moves if they’re interested.
I am always happy to learn new things and am eager to contribute, so of course I will be happy to help out with any tasks even if it's not connected to any of the above mentioned things.
