Hi I'm Nico, 25 years old and I live in Belgium (in Flanders).

Right now I started a degree in car techniques and I want use these skills to help build a community or a farm. Or if I later want to live and travel in a van so I can fix it on the road if something goes wrong.
When I did some bike touring I slept mainly in the wild and these were such great experiences that I now idealize the idea of living more wildly and less depended of society. It also changed my view a lot on our society and I am more aware of what I buy in the supermarket.

I am very curious about communal living and what challenges are involved I still have to experience it to see what it is like.

I studied informatics for a while and I have some knowledge but I'm not interested anymore in a future behind a desk between four walls. I want to work with my hands and be outside and feel physically exhausted at the end of the day (in a healthy way off course) and I want to learn and watch my own food grow.

I am learning to become a car mechanic so I will gather these skills in time
I do all the maintenance of my bicycle myself and replaced all kind of parts. I also have a lot of bike specific tools.

In my education I learned to build websites and programming and I worked with linux so if there is some computer stuff or networking I might be able to help.

I can also help with basic diy and building projects and I am interested in learning more as well. When I was young I helped my stepdad when he was renovating the house.

What else ...

I want to learn more about spirituality and meditation as it helps me to be more aware of my surroundings and connect more with people. I am also fascinated by Wim Hof right now and am doing cold water therapy which feels great.
