Description
We are a couple traveling long term, we love traveling and previously travelled for 12 months 10 years ago and for 9months 7 years ago.
On previous trips we have been to Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Maldives, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, we do not have a fixed plan in any country as we like to decide as and when, if we like somewhere we can stick around longer, we are currently in Malaysia volunteering on a home stay.
We love meeting new people, we are outgoing, lively people and love to learn about different cultures and food. We love to get involved in local life off the beaten track and we also like to see the sights and be a tourist too.
We have great passion for food and cooking also learning to cook new foods.
We both lived in Spain for 12 years, our home country in England (Manchester)
We have previous experiences working with people, I (Nichola) was a tour guide in Spain for 8 years, I have experience in social media and I have hospitality experience, Nigel worked in Sales and has many years experience in the construction industry. We both also have youth work experience.
We have previously volunteered in Cambodia for 7 months and we volunteered. This involved assisting local teachers teaching English in deprived communities, teaching police, monks and having fun through learning with children playing games, singing songs which really helped in confidence building and improving english.
