Description

I’m currently taking a year off from my work as a preschool teacher to travel, hike, and volunteer. I feel very lucky to have spent most of this year exploring nature. For me, travel is an opportunity to see the world from different perspectives, learn new approaches to life, and form meaningful connections.

I prefer to spend extended time in one place so I can truly get to know the community and culture rather than just pass through. Over the past few years, I’ve lived and taught in Morocco, an experience that deepened my appreciation for community and cultural exchange.

I’m super interested in opportunities where I can learn hands-on skills such as gardening, farming, and permaculture. That said, i am flexible, adaptable, and open to a wide range of experiences.

Hiking/camping: I am an experienced long distance hiker and have led overnight hiking groups in the past.

Outdoor work: A goal of mine while in Central America is to practice hands-on skills such as gardening, composting, animal care and general maintenance. Although I am a beginner at many of these I am a fast learner and very motivated.

Child care/ education: I am an experienced teacher and have worked with children of all age groups, following routines and collaborating.

Hostels: I have experience organizing and hosting social events and have worked in guest reception.

-Nature is my happy place and I enjoy long distance hiking and camping.
-Love to stay active by swimming, yoga, hiking and then also having some relaxing days in between.
-I am very easy going, adaptable and work well in a team.
-I am a board/card game junkie (catan, monopoly, codenames)
