Hi!!!☺️ My name is Monique, 22, and I am from the Netherlands. I have just finished my bachelor and have decided to explore some more of the world. I took a course in Mandarin and Chinese history so ended up going to China for my travels. I am traveling solo, I love nature and being outdoors. I cannot get enough of mountains, rivers, waterfalls and forests. Additionally, I love meeting new people, especially learning about other ways of life. In the Netherlands I play volleyball, I also like bouldering, (pole) dancing, squash, festivals, raves and reading. Thus, a whole bunch of interests. Sustainability is a driving factor in my life, as much as I can say that having flown to China. I try to eat vegetarian meals, but do not want to miss too many cultural experiences and cannot always translate my preferences. Therefore, I am more flexible with my diet while traveling.
