Description

I’m Miya, a 27-year-old from Japan.
I’m currently taking a gap year after working as an engineer in Japan. I’m interested in crafts, photography, and living in the countryside in foreign countries, which is why I decided to start Workaway.I have experience working on farms and in hotels in Japan through WWOOF.

・WWOOF Experience (Japan)
Aug–Sep 2020: Worked at a countryside auberge – bed making, room cleaning, kitchen assistance, and serving guests.
Oct 2020: Volunteered on an organic farm – farming tasks and childcare support.
Jul 2021: Assisted at a traditional Japanese washi (handmade paper) workshop.
Aug 2021: Helped in rice fields and orchards with seasonal agricultural work.
Mar 2022: Volunteered at a rice farm on a southern island in Japan.
