I am a 56 year old secondary school teacher who loves life and wants to see even more of the world!
I work hard at my job and I love making a difference to young people's lives. I am a great cook,I clean, I am fit, healthy and responsible. I love being outdoors in nature, especially at the sea and I have 1 dog - a very old little dachshund. I am super reliable, hard-working, mature, resilient and confident. I have qualifications in 7 languages other than English and would love to practise and improve my German.

Before I had children I travelled a lot - around Europe, Asia ( I lived for 2 years Japan) and Africa and I am not ready to stop now! Now that my 3 sons are grown up, happy and healthy, I would like to spend my summers travelling, meeting new people, experiencing new things. Life is short and it can be SO beautiful.

More details about my language interests
I am required to teach beginners German and Spanish from time to time. I studied these languages some years ago, so understand how they work but am a bit rusty! I would really like to brush up on these two languages and get more fluent. I can teach French and Italian - and English, of course.

I am very reliable, sensible and mature. I am a great communicator, great with children and young adults with over 25 years experience teaching. I teach French in a secondary school in Kent, 40 minutes from London.

I am fit, strong and healthy. I love sport and being in nature, particularly the sea. I love dogs and animals in general. I am a keen gardener and have landscaped, planted and maintained my own garden. I do all my own basic DIY - painting etc but I can't do more expert stuff like electrics/ plumbing etc sorry!

I am very resilient and love a challenge and travelling; when I was 22 and spoke no Japanese, I went to live in very small town in rural remote Japan. It was a great experience! I much prefer getting involved in a community and a project, and doing something to improve the world rather than lying on a beach in an impersonal hotel.

I am not vegetarian or vegan, but don't eat much meat. I am not fussy at all. I have brought up 3 boys in a busy household with 3 dogs at times, and I am very tidy and organised. I like a well-run home so am very capable and willing to look after a house and garden.
