  • Description

    Hello dear Workaway community!
 :)
Our names are Mia and Alina, and we’re both turning 20 this year. We’ve been friends since the age of 6 and grew up in a small, close-knit neighborhood surrounded by fields and forests, which is why nature has always played an important role in our lives. Being outdoors (especially by the sea) is where we feel happiest. We are open-minded, curious, and always excited about new adventures and meeting people from all over the world.

    About Mia:

I absolutely love animals and grew up with a horse and a cat, which taught me responsibility from a very young age. I’m a very social person and truly enjoy spending time with children. In the future, I would love to become an elementary school teacher.
My family means everything to me, and I really enjoy taking part in family activities and spending quality time together. I’m also a passionate cook. I’ve been cooking for my family since I was 15 and love being in the kitchen, whether I’m preparing meals or baking something sweet.
I was also lucky to gain some travel experience early on. When I was 16, I spent six months in Canada, which helped me become more independent and open to new cultures and ways of life.

    About Alina:
I am an open-minded, responsible, and caring person who truly enjoys helping others. Growing up with two younger siblings, I naturally learned to take on responsibility and support my family in everyday life. I also have experience in babysitting, which has helped me become even more reliable, patient, and attentive.
I love animals and have rabbits myself, so I am very happy to help with pet care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, being outdoors, and exploring new places.
I am always open to new adventures and absolutely love traveling. I am excited to learn about new cultures, meet inspiring people, and become part of a welcoming host family. I am motivated, positive, and ready to help wherever I am needed.

We would love to hear from you! :)

  • More details about your skills

Mia:I have hands-on experience working in a bakery, where I developed strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
I own a horse and am very comfortable with outdoor and farm work, which has made me responsible, physically capable, and reliable.
I’m passionate about cooking and baking, and I also teach riding lessons to groups of children and teens aged 6–16, where I’ve built good communication, and organizational skills.
Alina: Growing up with younger siblings has taught me patience and responsibility, and I am comfortable helping with children and daily family tasks.
I take care of my own rabbits, so I have experience with feeding animals and cleaning enclosures. I also sometimes help in the garden and enjoy cooking for my family.
Through my job in a bakery, I learned to be punctual, reliable and to work well in a team, even during busy times. Playing football has strengthened my team spirit and discipline.

We are social, adaptable and motivated to support our hosts and gain new experiences.
