Description
I live my life causing the least amount of harm possible, to myself, to others, to sentient beings and the earth. I have been a vegan for almost 20 years (although I do not have an issue with what others eat). I have traveled extensively and easily adapt to other cultures/customs. I am motived by like minded people and living amongst nature brings me happiness.

Outside of my native USA, I have lived in Central America, Nepal, Spain and Austria. I spent 12 years in rural Cambodia living/working (unpaid staff) at a home for vulnerable children and the list of hats I wore there is long and varied.
After Cambodia, I worked at a Farm Animal Sanctuary for 3.5 years as a Facility Manager and assisted or was in charge of all aspects of the care and well-being of the 50+ residents and also the basic upkeep of our buildings, equipment, and gardens. I was the sanctuary's first full-time employee and was involved in transforming their relatively new sanctuary into an amazing place for their growing residents.
I left my job at the sanctuary in April 2026 and have been traveling since then. I spent time in Ireland and had my first and second workaway experience there, both positive! I am confident that I have the stamina and ability to be an asset in not only in the position I am seeking, but also wherever I am needed. -
What else ...
I am creative, can sew by hand or machine, make jewelry and all sorts of crafts. I am good at repurposing items so they do not end up in the garbage.
