Hello 🤗 I'm Mel (27) from Argentina 🇦🇷 and decided to start a long solo trip around Asia from March

The main purpose of my trip is to know more about the world, new cultures and ways of living while I join to other people's projects and learn from them as well as collaborate with ideas or whatever is needed.

My background has a lot to do with Arts, Languages and social activities

I have always been in contact with Arts and other ways of expressing. I studied Visual Arts for many years so I like to draw, paint write and do pottery. I would be happy to offer art workshops and activities related to that.

I also have taught English with my sister at school, so activities and games for the classroom are ready and waiting with me 😁

I'm my childhood I was in Scouts, so I love camping, being in the nature and learn from sustainable ethics 🏕️ Right now I'm particularly interested in permaculture.

I had volunteered for a few years back home with children and elderly people and I would love to keep doing it, every time with more tools and skills to offer 🫴

My personal project is that in a couple of years I will do something meaningful for children and people in my country 🌺

I like that people learn languages because of the opportunities for openness, socialization and knowledge development that it brings, and the creativity required to do something with all of that. ∆I can teach English, specially to children with songs or grupal games. I have some ideas to propose and try to make it work I am also happy to share my native language, Spanish if you are interested too and for sure I'm keen to learn from others as well so that I can immerse myself more in the culture and get to know people deeper

I study Visual Arts doing different subjects such as Painting, Modeling, Sculpture and others. After graduation I studied Pottery and Ceramics, so I'm more than happy to organize artistic workshops
I also taught English to children and teenagers in classrooms and online, all in a fun and creative way to strengthen interest and keep students motivated.
Besides that, my other skills are being energetic, curious and always keen to learn something 🆕

What else ...

When traveling I really appreciate to have someone that share the culture with me. It is hard to get out from the tourist sight when you don't know anyone around
That's why I signed up to Workaway experiences 🌺 to live the real life as a local (at least for a short but meaningful time) with inspiring people that are happy to open their home, sharing a bit of their unique daily life and building bridges between people as a way of living/loving.
I'm very happy to made the desition of travelling, am excited to collaborate and learn from your projects/activities.
