Good morning!

Born in England but raised all over the world, I grew up with a love for travel and discovering new cultures. That curiosity has only grown stronger over the years.

I’m a hard worker with experience in teaching, technical services, and copywriting, and I look forward to using those skills to make my Workaway stays meaningful. As a former English Teacher, I especially love language exchange and helping others improve their English while learning from them in return.

Right now, I’m hoping to find a family in Spain for a language exchange. I adore the beach, so somewhere within walking distance of the sea would be amazing — but if I find the right family, location doesn’t matter. 🥰
Bonus points if you’re near good transport links or have a dog I can take for walks. xx

When it comes to daily life, I’m happy to help with housework and I love cooking — any excuse to share some of my favourite dishes, mostly Thai and Italian. ❤

While I currently work as a freelance lighting and sound technician, I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Birmingham and am a qualified ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I’ve spent many years coaching theatre for children aged 2 to 16, and also worked as a Year 6 teacher in Thailand, guiding students through their exam years and teaching a range of subjects including maths, science, literature, and P.E.

Because of this experience, I work especially well with families and can easily adapt lessons to suit different age groups. I’m particularly proud of my ability to make learning fun and interactive — I’ve always believed children learn best when they don’t even realise they’re learning. 😉😇

I love art and culture, I sketch and write often, love board games, am unhealthily obsessed with dancing and music and will take any opportunity to read outside.
I realised a long time ago that I simply wanted to take on any chance to travel and learn that came my way, I hope I get the opportunity to do that with your family. ❣️
