Description

Hello! My name is Maxence, and I’m a French engineering student from the north of France.
As part of my studies, I have to carry out a personal project abroad for several months. It’s not a study trip, but a project where I have to follow a “common thread”: discovering a new environment, getting involved in concrete projects, and learning differently by connecting with the people I meet.

I’ve already had the chance to travel to several countries:
- United States
- Italy
- England
- Greece
- Philippines

These trips made me want to keep exploring the world and live more authentic experiences by taking part in daily life and meeting local people.

Recently, I also started photography. This journey is an opportunity for me to meet people, talk with them about life, their experiences, their dreams, and capture these moments through portraits.
My final project is to gather all these encounters in a notebook: a mix of portraits and quotes, to keep a trace of every person I meet along the way.

Outside of that, I’m quite a sporty person. I played football (soccer) for about ten years as a goalkeeper. Today, I go to the gym regularly, I play volleyball, and I enjoy hiking whenever I get the chance.
I’m always open to discovering new sports — for me, sport is an excellent way to bring people together and create connections.

I think I already have a good level in English , but I'd like to improve it even further . I especially want to expand my vocabulary and become more comfortable speaking. I can of course teach French as well :)
