Description
Hello! I've spent much of the past two decades living, working, and traveling through ~45 countries. I have done a multitude of jobs in my life and have participated in the Workaway and WWOOF programs while in Brazil, Italy (and Sicily), Ireland, and the US. I know this sounds cliché, but I miss working with my hands. I'm tired of looking at a computer all day and want to get back to the basics. I've helped out on farms before and have loved each experience.

I've done a little bit of everything. I got my MBA a few years ago and helped to run operations for Amazon. I started a company with my sister called ceodiscovery.com. I went to culinary school nearly a decade ago and have my TESOL certificate to teach English as a second language. I learned to speak Spanish when I lived in South America. I'm excellent with animals and animals seem to love me. I've housesat/petsat in Italy, London, and the US. I've WWOOFed on farms in Italy, Brazil, and the US and have done a ton of diverse jobs on those farms including building structures to working in vineyards to picking fruit. I have the ability to lift heavy items and to work hard for very long periods of time without having to stop.

I love to read and, when I am not working, that is what I do with much of my free time. I also love coffee and love to start each day with several cups. I've traveled quite a bit and still have the travel bug. I have a very dry sense of humor and I love to joke with people.

Matthew spent two months with us and was the right person at the right time. He allowed us to go on vacation for a week, taking care of the house and everything else by himself. Always ready to do the required work including harvesting millions of kilos of avocados or cutting millions of olive branches :)
