Description

Hi ! We are two friends, Florane and Mathilde (25 both) living in France, and we got our masters' degrees in environmental science this year for Mathilde and last year for Florane. We are now on a break from mid-september to mid-october and decided to seize this opportunity to travel to Ireland and maybe also Great Britain.
With workaway, we would like to discover other cultures while travelling and to make new friends all around the world!
We love nature, animals, and want to learn more about organic farming and sustainable, minimalist lifestyles.
We enjoy hiking and riding bikes and horses, cooking, baking, taking care of children and animals and are excited for any new experience!
We travelled once to Crete to volunteer for an NGO called Archelon, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece. It allowed us to meet great people coming from many different countries and work with them toward a common goal : protecting the sea turtles.
In 2021, we experienced workaway for the first time. We went to Italy, to help in an organic farm with cows, goats, chickens and very cute dogs and a cat! After 6 wonderful weeks there, our second adventure took place in a hotel-castle which hosted weddings where we helped with maintaining the grounds and the rooms.
