Description
Hi everyone! We are Masaisilen (29) and Juba (27), two mexican 🇲🇽 brothers with algerian 🇩🇿 roots. We speak Spanish, English, French and Amazigh (berber) and we are traveling together to explore new places where we can contribute, connect and meet new people.
We recently spent almost three months volunteering in an ashram (hinduist spiritual community) located in Germany 🇩🇪 working in different teams. Masaisilen was part of the facilities and maintenance department, and Juba worked in the kitchen. This was a very spiritual experience. It taught us a lot about ourselves. Helped us improve our discipline, teamwork and widen our perspective about community life.
We truly enjoyed being part of it. Before that, we spent a month traveling across Egypt 🇪🇬 (We have so many stories to tell about our travels 😅)
We are calm, respectful and easy-going people. We don’t drink alcohol or smoke, and we enjoy a simple lifestyle (Masaisilen is vegetarian🧘). We take our commitments seriously and we are always happy to help. Masaisilen is more extroverted and loves having conversations and making jokes, Juba is more introverted and is a great listener, wiser that you'd expect 😅.
Masaisilen has experience in maintenance, basic repairs, carpentry, electricity, organization, hospitality and languages (Spanish, English and French). Juba has experience in kitchen and restaurants, cleaning, food preparation, physical work, general assistance, PowerPoint design and languages just as Masaisilen. Together we are a reliable and flexible team, as our skills complement each other very well.
We are currently in Morocco and open to continue our journey in Africa, Asia or Europe. We are looking for opportunities where we can exchange our time and skills for accommodation, food and cultural exchange, while learning, growing and supporting meaningful projects.
We are motivated, responsible and grateful for any opportunity to help, and we would be very happy to work as a team to support your project 🙏 -
