Hello and welcome to my profile!

I want to explore new countries through Workaway to create new memories and share them. I’d like to find small, self-sufficient—or nearly self-sufficient—communities so I can learn as much as I can and share what I know.

I worked in various office jobs in the accounting field until I decided to change my life and live it to the fullest. I’ve been living in the province of British Columbia, Canada, for six years. I’m semi-retired, which allows me to work in the summer and travel in the winter.

I know how to manage a farm, do landscaping, and I worked as a provincial park ranger at San Josef Bay on Vancouver Island. I worked for Parks Canada in the Yukon for two summers. My goal is to work outdoors as much as possible. When I lived in Quebec, I always maintained and renovated my various homes, so I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

I’m an active person. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, meditation, qi gong, reading, camping, and more. I’m an extremely sincere, patient, and honest person. I love animals and have a deep respect for all things related to nature. I’ve always had cats and dogs at home in Quebec.

I have a valid security clearance from Health Canada and no criminal record.
French is my mother tongue but I practice English every day.
