Hi everyone, I'm Marie!

I'm someone calm and also very active, i love use my fingers, create, and being in action, even when i'm sat and just talking, i feel better if my fingers are busy.

As I'm nearly 40, I have some skills. I mostly worked in decorative painting, sculpture, costume, create creatures and props for escape rooms, theater and shows. I know how to use machines, sanding, engraving, cutting, use a Dremel, how to paint. I'm also a body painter and face painter.

I love to learn and share Technics, life, dreams, art and nature. Motivated about gardening, cleaning and greening lands, helping and learning how to take care of our wonderful nature and its products. From seeding to harvesting or preserving. I also like de-cluttering and add some "Feng Shui" to workshops and homes, always leaving my work space clean and ready for the next project.

I also have a long experience in massages, completed by two one year training in well being and reflexology.

Most of the time, I'm really calm and quite. Loving to feel and observe, dreaming in my zone...
My talkativity is from zero to constant, depending of the confidence, mood and topic.
But when i feel comfortable, i can be a clown... It depend of the mood.

I'm still recovering from a very long toxic relationship and after a year away from socialization, healing my heart, getting confident again.... Had the chance to find Micky, someone genuinely caring so my life and energy are so much better now! (Still my burnout left me a little "gift": I still cant stand vibrations and some noises are really annoying to hurtful)

From the seed to the fruit, i'm fascinated by plants and I can't quench my thirst of knowledge about botany, plant development, medicinal properties and just the beauty of all this. I spend so much time observing nature, trying to multiply plants, reading botany and gardening books.I had also a few experience in foraging wild fibers and weaving it, and a bit of wild architecture with wicker.

In 2025 I will begin a training in permaculture, synthropy and agroforestry . Until then I choose spend the time workawaying in Spanish-speaking countries to get more fluent with languages and as closest as possible to nature! Yogic environments or possibility to pratice would be highly appreciate! As presence of animals, I love them all!

My experience in Workaway began 12 years ago for an 8 month workawaying with my bestie in Andalusia and Portugal and it was one of the best period of my lifetime.
I just love to share quality time, knowledge, and the mutual enrichment everyone can share!

Last months, I also went in Mexico and help a couple in their ranch in the wonderful desert of Baja California Sur. I helped them to rebuild palapas roofs, and to label all the plants on their land with Plantnet app. I loved that!

And then in Spain, Galicia, for some gardening help, de-cluttering and organizing a workshop space.

I have worked in October in an organic citrus farm near Murcia, working hard on cleaning the land, sanding several wooden doors, cleaning the house and maintenance work, and spend November gardening in a wonderful lush garden near Cadiz.

Can't wait to live more experiences! 😃

Salut! Je suis Marie!

Je suis à la fois très calme et très active. J'adore être dans l'action et rentabiliser mon énergie. même assise, je préfère faire quelque chose.

Mon envie de parler passe de zéro à flux constant, dépendant de mon confort mental et relationnel, et du sujet de discussion.
J'aime apprendre de nouvelles techniques, à manier de nouveau outils, parler de la vie, des ressentis, des rêves, d'art ou de nature…

J'ai surtout travaillé dans les décors et accessoires d'escape room, je suis peintre décoratrice sur tout supports. J'ai fait quelques fresques. Jai travaillé 12 ans pour un atelier de scénographie, décors théâtre, spectacles évènementiels, sculpture de masques, créatures pour déambulation, et la création de costumes. Je sais me servir de machines pour poncer, couper, peindre divers matériaux… Je réalise aussi des bodypainting et du maquillage créatif sur enfants et adultes.
J'ai également de nombreuses années de pratique du massage derrière moi, complétées par deux formations en bien-être et en réflexologie plantaire.

Je passe énormément de temps à observer la nature et à essayer de multiplier des plantes.
De la graine au fruit, je suis littéralement fascinée par les plantes et j'ai une soif intarissable de connaissances et pratique autour et dans le végétal.
J'ai eu plusieurs expériences dans la récoltes de fibres végétales, de vannerie et de vannerie vivante/architecture végétale… J'adore ça!

En 2025 je commencerai une formation sur la permaculture, l'agroforesterie et la syntropie.

D'ici là je multiplie les workaways dans le but de progresser en langues.
Et surtout profiter d'un meilleur climat qu'en Belgique! J'ai envie de continuer à prendre soin de moi, dans un environnement en pleine nature, pour vous aider sur votre terrain, nettoyer, débroussailler, tailler, etc... Et apprendre un peu sur les food forest ou la permaculture. Avoir accès à un cours de yoga serait extremement apprécié tout comme la présence d'animaux, je les adore! :D

J'ai passé 8 mois de Workaway il y a 11 ans chez différents hôtes en Andalousie et au Portugal et c'est une période que je compte parmi les plus enrichissantes de ma vie. J'adore les échanges les apprentissages et enrichissements mutuels. Donner et recevoir tout ce savoir et rencontrer de chouettes personnalités!

Ces derniers mois je suis également allée aider un couple de rancheros dans le magnifique désert de la Basse Californie au Mexique, pour reconstruire leurs toits de palapa et à inventorier toutes les plantes de leur terrain. Puis en Galice, pour aider au jardin et à l'organisation d'un atelier.

Près de Murcie dans une ferme biologique avec verger d'agrumes j'ai travaillé sur le terrain comme sur la maison. Aménagements, rangement, j'ai aimé redonner à cet endroit du fengshui et de l'organisation aux espaces de vie ou de travail.

Près de Cadix, j'ai adoré faire l'entretien automnal d'un jardin très élaboré et retaper le système de filtration des eaux grises.

J'ai déjà hâte de la future expérience!
