Hello!
My name is Juan Manuel, although everyone calls me "Manolo".
I'm 37 years old and from Spain.
I'm new to the world of Workaway, but I'm very excited to begin my journey!
I've always worked in the hospitality/tourism industry. I was a manager, running bars, restaurants, nightclubs, etc.
At the same time, I've always been passionate about art in all its forms: painting, architecture, sculpture, photography, theater, film, etc., although music and writing take up almost all my time!
I've been singing and writing since I was very young!
Now that I've stopped working, my intention is to dedicate myself more fully to music and writing (I'm writing several books) while also exploring other cultures.
I love to travel, but I always feel I need to spend more time in the places I visit, and I think this is the best way to do that! Aside from art, I'm a passionate nature lover. I adore both the mountains and the sea, and I especially enjoy sunsets, sunrises, and full moons.
Although I also admit that I really enjoy big cities. I love getting lost in them, wandering the streets, and getting to know them inside and out!
I'm a very polite, respectful, clean, and organized guy. I'd like to find like-minded people in these ways; I think it's essential for living together. If you'd like to know anything about me, we can talk more easily. I'm very outgoing and love chatting and meeting new people!
(I'm a bit of a struggle with languages; it's something I need to work on, but I'm happy that I can learn them through Workaway.)

Me llamo Juan Manuel aunque todo el mundo me llama "Manolo".
Tengo 37 años y soy de España.
Soy nuevo en el mundo del Workaway pero tengo mucha ilusión por comenzar mi andadura!
Siempre he trabajado en la Hostelería/Turismo. Me dedicaba como Gerente a dirigir bares, restaurantes, clubs nocturnos etc.
Paralelamente siempre he sido un apasionado del arte en todas sus versiones, la pintura, la arquitectura, la escultura, la fotografía, el teatro, el cine etc, aunque la música y la escritura acaparan casi todo mi tiempo!
Canto y escribo desde muy pequeño!
Ahora que he parado de mi trabajo, mi intención es mientras me dedico más a fondo a la música y a escribir (estoy escribiendo varios libros), poder conocer culturas de otros países.
Me encanta viajar pero siempre siento que necesito pasar más tiempo en los lugares que visito y creo que esta es la mejor forma de poder hacerlo!
A parte del arte soy un amante empedernido de la naturaleza, me encanta tanto la montaña como el mar y sobre todo disfruto mucho de los atardeceres, los amaneceres y las lunas llenas.
Aunque también reconozco que disfruto mucho de las grandes ciudades, me encanta perderme en ellas, callejear y conocerlas muy a fondo!
Soy un chico muy educado, respetuoso, muy limpio y ordenado; me gustaría encontrar personas afines en esos sentidos, me parece primordial para la convivencia.
Cualquier cosa que queráis saber sobre mi podemos hablar más tranquilamente, soy muy extrovertido y me encanta charlar y conocer nuevas personas!
(Ando un poco mal con los idiomas es una asignatura pendiente, pero me gusta que a través de Workaway también podré aprender idiomas)
