Hi, my name is Maciek, I am 22, originally I come from Poland, but for last 3 years I've lived and studied in Belgium. I currently doing a gap year and in a couple of months I be starting my masters, since I will be doing it in a German university I am trying to learn German now. I looking for some good people who would host me and help me with learning the language, I am happy to help around the house or with some renovations projects in exchange for that. I am a rather unproblematic person, I don't smoke and don't need a lot to be happy, I spend most of my free time doing sports or reading about my many interests. I've always had a dog at home and I really like them, however I've always lived in a city, so I don't have much experience with big animals, I would also say I get along pretty well with kids (I am the oldest of a large group of cousins).

I am really trying to learn German, I am currently doing a course and I am able to have simple conversations already but I am by no means fluent. If you'd like to practice English I am fluent and I can help with that. Or I can teach some of my mother tongue, Polish, though it is a journey believe me.

I have a technical background, so I can work with tools and do handy man jobs decently well. I've grew up with a dog, so I am used to having and taking care or pets. I am relatively good cook, though I usually make pretty simple dishes (but they pretty good I promise :)). My grandma has a garden and I would help her sometimes when I was a kid so I can do simple gardening things as well (but I am not very experienced with plants, I would need some direction in that area).
