Description

My name is Maarja-Liis and my husband is Paul. We are in Colombia and looking for a project where we could help out with farming/gardening and/or housesit (whist helping with garedening etc). I am also qualified as Kaula yoga teacher and would love to lead sessions.

We are normally live in Estonia, where we have an organic farm. In winter our farm is under snow. We are both farmers and foragers, we do extensive harvesting in the wild of greens, buds, medicinals, berries and mushrooms selling in addition to using ourselves. Paul is from California and I am Estonian. This is fourth winter in a row we are leaving Estonia to get some sun and also looking for a warmer place to move. We lived in Hawaii and California before. Last winters we were in Italy, Georgia and Ecuador, Tanzania and Madagascar.

We are looking for places in the countryside, with no EMF, or as little as possible.
We are also available for house-pet sit in January-April, we did that last year in Italy over Christmas and New Year.

We are honest, reliable, hands-on, mature people. We are passionate about foraging, cooking and good food.

Two years ago I did my YTT in Ecuador and I have been teaching yoga in a local community since then. Yoga is a blessing in my life. I would love to be involved in yoga retreats or trainings when travelling. I also guide foraging trips, make soap, herbal medicines and run farmers markets. I am also experienced in alternative sustainable building and construction.

Paul has many years of experience as an organic farmer. He works with the nature to grow plants and our farm is loaded with pollinators, birds, wildlife, biodiversity. His farming style is unique, adaptive, abundant and successful. He is good at fixing things and general basic building and repairs.

I speak Spanish and Paul undrestands quite a bit.
