  • Description

    Hi! I'm Lylah 👋

I grew up in Singapore, with a Mum from rural Australia and Dad from Lian, Philippines. Been on the road all my life, grew up ling term in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand... so I value staying in one place for a long time and getting to know the people and culture. I am an open communicator, empathetic and a problemsolver of sorts. I get the most motivation by the passion that the people around me have, so I hope to share in that zest and collect friends and knowledge as stories on my travels :)

PSA ~ I've now started university in Zoology-Arts at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia! November 1-22, I will be in Fiji for an Exchange program and hope to stay on and in around the pacific for a month after that.

  • More details about your skills

My 'home' job is Visitor Experince host and youth curator in an Art Gallery and Museum slam poet. 2024 is my gap year

I am massively granola lol. Vegetable and pollinator gardening for Aussie highcountry, hiking in Indonesia's best peaks and pilgrimages and Australian hinterlands, rock-climbing (far from a pro, but it's fun!)

    PADI certified (AOW and Nitrox).
I have my First Aid course and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
I have my 200 YTT (House of Om, 2023)

My parents own a small B&B house themselves, so I'm familiar with making beds, cleaning toilets and helping guests.

For 4 years now I've taught in homework support for refugee children aged 4-13 y.o. Though I'm young, I can be an fun (and patient) teacher.

I have basic website design experience, but am more comfortable with online graphic design, photos, and handmade branding. I'd love to bring your work to be shown in Australia, if need be!
I make art in mediums from murals in cafes and little portraits and postcards.
Love my little Spanish guitar and performing, sometimes I teach.

Most importantly, I am open to learning new skills and quick to learn and teach!
