Description

We are a couple from England looking for short term workaways in New Zealand. We have done this together previously in Sydney and Byron bay, working with children and horses. We are currently backpacking SE Asia and about to head to NZ and then Australia. We are very excited to visit New Zealand as we both love being in nature.
I (Sophie) have got 7 years experience working in the child care industry and see myself doing this for the foreseeable as I love it. I was an au pair in Sydney previously and have also previously been a Room Leader in a childcare setting. I have a huge passion for children’s progression and love to be involved in this.
Lydia is a qualified Equine Vet and has a huge passion for this. She has owned horses herself and is very knowledgeable about equine care and training. Lydia also loves to ride when time allows and would love to be able to do this on her visit to New Zealand.
We are both friendly, hardworking and would be happy to get stuck in with any jobs that need to be done. We are non-smokers, and have no dietary requirements (other than Lydia is lactose intolerant but happy to buy her own milk). We understand that some families would only be looking for one worker but we would be more than happy to share a room so no extra space would be needed! We’d also be happy to cover the cost of any additional food/bills if needed.
