Hey everyone,
I'm a 29 year old political educator from Germany currently planning my summer.
I've been really interested in alternative ways of living and working for quite a while now, especially collective work and communal living. I love the great outdoors as well as cozy times at home with a good book. I value respect, honesty and kindness in my relationships and I think it's incredibly important for everyone of us to care about what's going on in the world and with the people around us.

During some months I spent volunteering on homesteads in Canada a few years ago I was able to learn quite a bit about raising livestock and caring for animals. Milking goats and making cheese were some of the most amazing things I had the chance to enjoy and learn about. I also gained some experience with gardening - outside and in a poly-tunnel - and have developed a fair share of weeding skills!
I also gained experience in personal care during a year of volunteering with a disabled young woman for whom I also did housework, some paper work, cooking and generally helping to make her everyday life easier. I guess I'm a fairly good cook (and I really enjoy cooking) even though I won't be able to pull off a four course meal for twenty people ;)
In addition to that I have some rather specialized skills related to producing podcasts and such through freelance work I do for radio stations.
