Hola,
mi nombre es Lucie y soy de la República Checa. Después de cinco años viviendo y trabajando en mi país, vuelvo a Chile, que se convirtió en mi segundo hogar. Regreso con muchas ganas de hacer trekking, disfrutar la naturaleza y la cultura local, y conectar con personas del lugar.
Trabajé varios años en oficina para empresas internacionales, pero decidí cambiar de rumbo y dedicarme más a lo que me hace feliz: viajar, moverme al aire libre y conocer culturas diferentes. He viajado por Chile, Argentina, Bolivia y Perú, participando en distintos voluntariados.
También pasé dos veranos patagónicos en Puerto Natales, ayudando a crear y luego administrar un hostal para viajeros.
Me encantan los deportes al aire libre, especialmente el trekking y el bikepacking viajes en bicicleta en Chile - Carretera Austral, Estados Unidos y Georgia).
Tengo experiencia en hostales, hoteles, restaurantes, granjas orgánicas, viñedos, cuidado de niños y animales, y enseñanza de inglés. Hablo español e inglés, y mi idioma nativo es checo. Soy responsable, flexible y siempre abierta a aprender algo nuevo. Busco un voluntariado auténtico, basado en el intercambio y el respeto mutuo.

Hello,
my name is Lucie and I am from the Czech Republic. After five years living and working back home, I’m returning to Chile, a country that has become my second home. I’m coming back to reconnect with nature, trekking, and local culture, and to spend more time outdoors doing what truly makes me happy.
I previously worked in an office environment for international companies, but decided to change direction and focus more on travel, freedom, and meaningful experiences. I have traveled extensively around Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru, taking part in various volunteer projects.
I also spent three Patagonian summer seasons in Puerto Natales, helping to start and later manage a hostel for travelers from all over the world. I love outdoor activities, especially trekking, and I’m also passionate about bikepacking, with long-distance trips in Chile -Carretera Austral, the USA (Continental Divide trail) and Georgia (Caucasus).
I have experience working in hostels and hotels, restaurants, organic farms, vineyards, fruit orchards, childcare, animal care, and teaching English. I speak fluent English and Spanish, and my native language is Czech. I’m flexible, responsible, and always happy to help wherever needed, while learning something new along the way. I’m looking for an authentic volunteer experience, based on mutual exchange and respect.
