Description
Hello! We are Lorna from Scotland and Louis from France, a couple of outdoor lovers currently travelling and living in their small van. We met while rock climbing in the South of France, and share a deep love of adventure, of learning and of nature. We are taking a career break for the foreseeable future, and are enjoying a minimalistic lifestyle. We are looking forward to learning more about organic farming, other cultures, cuisines and languages.

Lorna: I have been working as a teacher of English for all ages, and spent the past 4 years in early years education (Ages 2-5). I am currently finishing my Masters in Psychology. I am also an RYT certified yoga instructor. On a practical level, I am fit and active, and happy to do physical work. I have some experience in basic DIY projects, as well as having worked in the service industry (barista, hostel receptionist, event organisation for charities), and have some experience in content creation (photo editing, canva, video editing).
Louis: I used to work as a project engineer in the nuclear sector for multidisciplinary projects (mechanics, electronic, civil construction…) and I am now looking forward to learning about permaculture, eco-construction, wood work or other artisanal work. I spent 3 months volunteering at a permaculture farm in Spain, helping in the garden, with animals and for some construction works. I also used to produce music and DJ, so can create music or edit audio or just share musical vibes. I can also mountain guide and teach climbing, stretching or some breathing techniques. I like both intellectual works and physical and I have good endurance. I am someone curious, patient and who likes to learn. I would be happy for any new challenge and can adapt for your projects.

We both like to practice yoga, hike, run and climb. We enjoy playing chess and reading during downtime. We like to cook, and miss baking since there’s no oven in the van. We both love animals and have had a little experience milking goats at a fromagerie in the alps.
