Hi, I've been doing a lot of volunteer work in my life but completely new to workaway. Let me first introduce myself, my name is Lorena. I'm 46 and live with my boyfriend and my 12 years old sonat the Belgian coast. I'm working as a social worker with refugees and immigrants, a very rewarding job.
I love it because I get connected with people from all over the world. That brings me to another passion: travelling and meeting people from other countries and cultures.
I would love to have workaway experience with my love, Steven and son, Leandro.

J’ai fait beaucoup de bénévolat dans ma vie, mais je suis complètement nouvelle sur Workaway. Permettez-moi d’abord de me présenter : je m’appelle Lorena. J’ai 46 ans et je vis avec mon compagnon et mon fils de 12 ans à la côte belge. Je travaille comme assistante sociale auprès des réfugiés et des migrants, un métier très enrichissant. J’aime mon travail parce qu’il me permet d’être en contact avec des personnes venant du monde entier. Cela m’amène à une autre passion : voyager et rencontrer des personnes d’autres pays et d’autres cultures.
J’aimerais beaucoup vivre une expérience Workaway avec mon compagnon, Steven, et mon fils, Leandro.

I like yoga, hiking, running, gardening. In fact almost everything that I can do outside, under the sun.
I don't have special skills but I'm always curious to learn new things.

J’aime le yoga, faire des randonnées, le jardinage,... En fait presque tout ce que je peux faire dehors, sous un beau soleil.
Je n’ai pas de compétences particulières, mais je suis toujours curieuse d’apprendre de nouvelles choses. Ma langue maternelle est le néerlandais et je parle couramment français, anglais, espagnol et un peu d’italien.
