Description

Hi:) I'm Lisa, 31, from a small town in Bavaria in Southern Germany. As I always knew I wanted to work with kids or teenagers, I became a teacher for English, maths and Spanish, and I finished my degree over a year ago (took me a bit longer because I spent a lot of time traveling and living abroad inbetween;) ). I'm currently taking kind of a sabatical and am traveling around Latinamerica in this time.
Generally, I love traveling and getting to know new places, cultures and people, and I've always tried to take every opportunity to live abroad for a longer time (in Chile, Australia and the Canaries) since I feel that's the best way to really get to know a country. Also, last year I worked in a project that took German students round the world on a traditional sailing ship, so they could learn how to sail and at the same time get to know and experience other culture.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside, biking, swimming, playing volleyball or just hanging out with friends. I also love music (listening or making it myself) and going out to bars or go dancing. I'd say I'm a really open and spontaneous person, and I like to take life as it comes my way :)

I've got a degree as a teacher for English, Spanish and maths and have worked a lot with kids and teenagers (tutoring, aupair, sports clubs, kindergarten in Chile,...). Generally, I've worked mostly in social contexts but also have experience as a life guard for a swimming pool, as a bike courier, as a waitress and from other smaller jobs in supermarkets or shops. I also like physical work and don't mind getting my hands dirty. Plus, I'm always interested in and open towards learning new things:)
I speak Spanish and English fluently (as well as my mother tongue German) and some French (spoke it really well in school but forgot a lot).
