Hey i’m Lisa and i’m really excited about the next chapter of my travels here in Australia! I've been travelling for 6 Months now (from Sydney to Exmouth so far) and had already some amazing experiences through three different Workaway stays and I'm looking forward to my next one :)

I’m an open, easy-going and enthusiastic person who enjoys the little things in life, so I’m almost always in a good mood. I love being around people, making new connections, and I'm always open to doing nice things together — whether that’s being active, exploring the area, spending time outside or having deep and meaningful conversations.

I would describe myself as a very responsible, empathetic, and self-reflective person. It’s important to me that both I and the people around me feel comfortable and supported, and I’m usually good at contributing to that. I communicate honestly and respectfully, and I really appreciate when others do the same.

Back home, I live in a rather big city and enjoy the possibility to visit cultural events like the cinema, museums, readings and literary events or political discussions, as I love discovering new perspectives through books, stories and conversations. I also love being outdoors, going for a run or swim or hiking, and enjoy it a lot to spend so much more time in the nature in Australia.

Since I have lived in shared flats for the last 10 years I've not only learned how to run a household and communicate clearly about responsibilities and tasks but also really appreciate living with others. I enjoy sharing daily life, having dinner together and chatting about anything and everything!

During my previous three Workaway stays here in Australia I loved being surrounded by nature and animals and learning lots of new things.
I mainly worked around the properties, took care of different animals and worked in the garden doing things like weeding, watering, mowing, pruning and chopping wood, so I'm definitely not afraid of getting my hands dirty and would be happy helping you with everything that needs to be done.

As a pretty organized person who lives in shared flats for a really long time now I enjoy keeping spaces clean and cozy for everyone and i’m good with any household tasks.

Generally I love to learn new skills and am usually a quick learner, open to different tasks and happy to help with anything!

What else ...

After I finished school at the age of 18, I already spent a year traveling and working on a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand so it's really exciting to have the opportunity to travel again ten years later through Australia!
Back then, I mainly did fruit-picking jobs and worked for quite a long time in a hostel.
That experience sparked my love for travel, and ever since then it has been my dream to leave home again for a while even though I have found real joy and passion in my work as part of the sweetest café team in Leipzig, as well as in my political activism, which is an important part of my life.
