G'day! I am Lily, a young Australian women traveling to NZ with family at first and then solo for a few weeks. Keen to to be outdoors and hiking and training for the Camino. I am a passionate green thumb and whizz in the kitchen. I have volunteered around the world and have been traveling since I left school. Majority of the time I live overseas in the UK with my grandparents and frequent home to Aus for the summer time. I feel deeply connected to nature and adore learning new skills and life knowledge. Growing up on a small farm in South Australia has enabled me to learn about the land and become a hands on enthusiastic worker.
My family have been catering for many years, family business has shaped my siblings and myself into committed wholehearted people. Working in kitchens/cafes for lots of my part time employment has been beneficial.

You're very lucky if you have Lily apply to do a workaway at yours. She's honestly one of the best we've had. 100% reliable - always happy to help and brings a positive can do attitude to every task. She helped us twice, once for 5;weeks in 2024 and then 3 weeks in 2026, we were sad to see her go.

Lily has been with us a few times when she is back in Oz! We love her! She is fun, diligent, works hard, is a great cook and maker of sweet treats! Wise beyond her age yet humble! She is sure to be a delight for you as well!
We wish her well on all her travels and look forward to seeing her when she returns to the Adelaide area!!
