Hello there! My name's Lia (Lee), welcome to my profile, happy to have you here.

A little introduction...
I grew up in a small community near Toronto, Canada, spent my summers camping and canoeing the back-country of Ontario. Later I moved to the west coast of Canada to learn how to snowboard and plant trees near the rocky mountains. I work seasonally which means I'm constantly on the move, finding somewhere new to call home every year. Now that I've seen my backyard (or, most of it) I'm eager to see the world... and I can't think of a better way to do it, than through volunteer work.

I chose this platform for many reasons. Mainly, it's important to me to connect meaningfully with the countries I visit, to build connections, share knowledge, and contribute in the ways that I am able.

I am passionate, spirited, open-minded, self-reliant, and not afraid to try new things. My skill set is diverse, ranging from artistry (painting murals, digital design), event management, outdoor labour/farm work, to fine dining, bartending and other customer-service jobs. Most of all, I am quick to learn and I enjoy environments that challenge me!

At the moment I am in Guatemala. I am beyond stoked to be here. Currently spending a lot of my time practising yoga and meditation, making paintings, and reading (currently reading: IKIGAI).
