Description

I am currently travelling around Asia

I’m in my late 20s of Māori, Samoan, and mixed European descent and ethnicity, born and raise in Auckland, New Zealand

I am currently volenteering and I am travelling from 10 years within corporate I made the BIG decision to resign to volenteer as it's something I have wanted to do for the longest time

I am a friendly, people person and I am someone known for being happy go lucky and I love learning and understanding new things especially understanding different ways of life, cultures and connections. I do yoga, meditation and the ocean is usually where you'd find me, I have my Open Water PADI and I love the sea and all the animals & creatures in it

I love art nearly just as much as I like food, being able to incorporate my art would be fabulous and I do have my art book for the times to relax and unwind and would love to have this brought into my volenteering and I would like the opportunity to do a mural if possible :)

I have my canon 60D camera, and would happily incorporate taking photos into my volunteering if that’s something you are after!

I am well travelled and have done long trips for months at a time within Spain, Portugal, San Francisco, Singapore, Borneo (Maylasia & Mulu national park), Australia and most recently Fiji and Samoa solo

Being in corporate for 10 years I have had a a range of roles I have contract/operational management, systems management, sole admin roles, social media marketing admin, personal assistant, reception and as well as front facing roles in hospo/retail in my teen years all which I have learnt a lot from and in diverse industries banking, automotive with long term roles advertising and social media!

Love cooking, nac for creating dishes with 'less waste the better mindset' from creating up my own recipes with what I have to pickling and fermenting veges / fruit (yum!) I am a bit foodie as well, so I do like creating dishes as well :)

Gardening and volunteering for stream cleans in NZ, tool handling, knowledge of native plants and invasive ones, I have had my own garden in the past growing veges/herbs, started my own composting and always ready to learn more!

I have had pets, as well as friends who live on farms so not shy of feeding and looking after pigs, chickens, lambs and I know basic animal care and love animals :)

Outdoor skills and basic first aid, from when I was a kid I was a girl guide, then a ranger and I loved learning all these skills

Creativity and art! Creating it, thinking about art... doing art of course too! Would be up for a DYI project or a creative one and enjoy in my spare time doing I love photography and videography

Open minded! this one is one of my big skills, I am open minded about lifestyles, people, culture as everyone in this world has diverse lifestyles and cultures willing to learn and grow my knowledge and has lead me to being the adventurous and understanding person I am today!

As I have been working in a office for the past 10 and have been in leader roles, I have a lot of technical skills from processes, excel spreadsheets, email management and personal skills, communication, teamwork, problem team management! Industry wise I have worked in Social Media, Advertisement, Finance and automotive!

What else ...

I love food, I can cook and create dishes and I also love trying new food, local dishes and learning new recipes

My art ranges from fineline drawings to abstract paintings, always ranging in what I am doing and I'd really love to give a big art piece a go on a wall or foundation :)

I enjoy music either headphones in or not (time and place) always cool to hear what local music/artists there are from the places I am visiting

Yoga/Pilates and general fitness routines are something I try to incorporate into my life when I can and currently attempting to do headstands and holding handstands (not quite there yet!)

I enjoy taking photos on my cannon camera (travelling with it!) and have had my camera for over 15 years :)
