Hi! My name is Laura, I’m 18 and I live in Curitiba, Brazil. I’m currently studying Physical Education at the Federal University of Technology of Paraná. I spent several years as a swimmer and synchronized swimming athlete, which taught me discipline, teamwork, and dedication.

In my free time I love going to the movies and exploring the many parks in my city. Friends describe me as cheerful, curious, and eager to learn and share new experiences. At home I live with my parents, my brother, my sister, and our friendly dog Steve.

I was born in Italy but moved to Brazil when I was very young. My parents and grandparents lived there for many years, so I grew up hearing stories about the country and its culture. I’m excited to reconnect with my roots and also to discover other parts of the world. I believe Europe will be the perfect starting point for this journey.

Through Workaway I hope to meet people from different cultures, develop new skills, and contribute with enthusiasm and hard work. I’m looking forward to learning, helping, and making great memories along the way!
