Hey, welcome to my profile! I'm Lara,32 years old, and currently traveling through Japan with a Working Holiday Visa. I've done a lot of volunteer work in the past and therefore wanted to take the chance to immerse myself more into Japanese culture by finding myself a workaway family.

Farming/Animals care/general maintenance

I did volunteer work on different animals farms throughout New Zealand in 2013. I took care of animals like chickens, horses, dogs, parrots, pigs etc. I did some general maintenance around the farm and some small repairs. I also did lots of easy gardening work and was happy to gave a hand wherever it was needed.

Childcare/Hotel work

I did a lot of childcare at home in Germany where I did some volunteer work for children vacation groups as a team leader. We organized the program with the kids, games and daily trips. I also worked in childcare in international hotels in Greece and Italy, where I took care of children and planned the day with them.

Gardening/general maintenance

I do have quite a bit of experience in gardening, as I did some of that on my farmstays in New Zealand. I also worked in my mom's garden often times in the past, but would be happy to learn more about general maintenance and gardening in the future.

In general, I'm a person that shows lots of enthusiasm and motivation when it comes to learning new things. I'm very willing to listen and to learn fast and I'm sure that I will not disappoint anyone I'll work for. I'm a self responsible and self reliant person and as soon as I become acquainted to my work place, I'll see the work that needs to be done without needing instructions.
