Hi, we are Lola and Chris from Cologne. We love travelling and would like to spend more time abroad.

For the past years we enjoyed travelling throughout Europe while house sitting and taking care of pets such as cats, dogs, birds, fish and poultry. [Our 5 star reviews upon request.]

May we introduce ourselves:

I am Lola, a friendly, hands-on person with lots of energy.
In my "first life" I studied to be a teacher. Now I am a passionate restaurateur. At the end of 2021, I sold my successful pub/restaurant in the center of Cologne to be able to pursue other projects and travel more with Chris.

I am Chris, a good listener and always interested in meeting new people. I love spending time with children and enjoy many different kinds of sports.
I work as a freelance copywriter, specialized in digital marketing. I have written several books on business subjects. I am father to a now adult son, which allows us to travel long-term again.

We both like to spend time in nature, hiking is our favorite activity.

Hallo, wir sind Lola und Chris und kommen aus Köln. Wir lieben das Reisen und möchten gerne noch mehr Zeit im Ausland verbringen.

In den letzten Jahren waren wir viel in Europa unterwegs und und haben Houesitting gemacht und uns um verschiedene Haustiere gekümmert wie Katzen, Hunde, Vögel, Fische und Hühner. [Unsere 5 Sterne Rezensionen gerne auf Anfrage.]

Ich bin Lola, eine positive, Energie geladene Person und setze Dinge am liebsten sofort in die Tat um.
In meinem "ersten Leben" habe ich Lehramt studiert. Heute bin ich mit Herz und Seele Gastronomin. Ende 2021 habe ich meine erfolgreich laufende Szenegastronomie im Herzen Kölns verkauft, um neue Projekte in Angriff nehmen und mehr mit Chris reisen zu können.

Ich bin Chris, ein guter Zuhörer mit einer meistens ruhigen, ausgeglichenen Ausstrahlung. Ich liebe es, Zeit mit Kindern zu verbringen und bin leidenschaftlicher Ballsportler.
Seit mehr als 10 Jahren arbeite ich nun als freier Werbetexter, spezialisiert auf Onlinemarketing und SEO. Außerdem habe ich mehrere Business-Bücher veröffentlicht. Ich bin Vater eines nun erwachsenen Sohnes, so dass langfristiges Reisen wieder unkompliziert für uns ist.

Wir verbringen beide gerne Zeit in der Natur, am liebsten wandernd.

I am Lola, as the child of a father who could basically fix anything, I am no stranger to a jigsaw or drilling machine.
During my time at teacher‘s college, I had many side hustles in the event industry.
In collaboration with an interior designer we renovated the pub I owned from scratch.
Although I had 18 employees, we always worked as a team, as top-notch service is my highest priority. Many restaurateurs dislike the business side of owning a restaurant but I actually really enjoyed logistics, staff planning and accounting.

I am Chris, I completed the in Germany mandatory community service in a church in New York with Aktion Sühnezeichen/Friedensdienste. I decided to stay in New York City and worked as a bilingual tour guide on a double-decker bus, ran after-school-programs for inner-city kids and worked as an actor.
After eight years I went back to Germany and started teaching Business English at a language school in Cologne while earning a TEFL-certificate in Barcelona which allows me to teach English internationally.
I now work as a freelance copywriter and book author. My specialties are digital marketing and SEO.

Ich bin Lola, als Kind eines handwerklichen Allrounders groß geworden und habe keine Angst vor Stichsäge und Bohrmaschine.
Während meines Lehramtstudiums (Englisch und Deutsch) habe ich in unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Eventbranche und auf Messen gearbeitet.
Die Kneipe, die ich viele Jahre geführt habe, habe ich in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Interior Designer komplett renoviert.
Obwohl ich 18 Mitarbeiter hatte, haben wir immer im Team gearbeitet, da perfekter Service und persönlicher Kundenkontakt immer oberste Priorität für mich haben. Dinge, die für viele Gastronomen ein Horror sind, wie Personaleinsatzpläne, sämtliche Orga oder Buchhaltung haben mir tatsächlich immer Spass gemacht. Ordnung ist das halbe Leben.

Ich bin Chris, meinen Zivildienst habe ich in einer Kirche in New York mit der Aktion Sühnezeichen/Friedensdienste absolviert. In den insgesamt acht Jahren, die ich in New York City gelebt hat, habe ich als zweisprachiger Reiseleiter auf einem Doppeldeckerbus gearbeitet, Kinder aus sozialen Brennpunkten betreut und mich als Schauspieler verdingt.
Zurück in Deutschland habe ich in Köln viele Jahre in einer Sprachschule Business Englisch unterrichtet und parallel in Barcelona ein TEFL-Zertifikat erworben, mit dem ich weltweit Englisch unterrichten darf.
Seit mehr als 10 Jahren arbeite ich nun freiberuflich als Werbetexter und Buchautor. Meine Spezialgebiete sind digitales Marketing und SEO.
