Hi, I’m Kevin — originally from the UK, now based in Cronulla, Australia. I’ve spent over two decades in hospitality, including ten years managing restaurants and bars, which taught me a lot about people, systems, and problem-solving under pressure. But these days, I’m building something new an App for teachers.

I’m the kind of person who learns by doing.

Outside of work, I’m into languages, good food, cryptic crosswords, science, and the occasional rabbit hole of obscure trivia. I’ve always believed in staying curious and being useful — whether that’s helping someone in whatever way they need or figuring out how to automate an outreach campaign while I sleep.

More details about my language interests
I've always had a passion for languages and cultural exchange. I studied French and Spanish during school, and later dabbled in Mandarin and Russian through school clubs—including a two-week immersion program in St. Petersburg when I was 17. Through work colleagues and friends, I’ve also picked up some basic Polish. One of my little life goals is to learn how to say "thank you" in every language I come across. I find that even a few words in someone’s native tongue can open doors and create meaningful connections—something I love bringing to every new place I visit.

Outside of work and travel, I really enjoy classic board games like Monopoly and Cluedo—anything that brings people together for some friendly fun and conversation. I also love cooking, especially experimenting with local ingredients or helping out in the kitchen.

With a background in hospitality and coaching, I’m comfortable in lively, social environments and genuinely enjoy being of service. I love spending time with children and animals, and I’m always happy to help out around the house—whether that means tidying up, playing with the kids, or lending a hand in the garden. I value calm, respectful environments and am always mindful of home routines.

I really enjoy learning about new cultures, connecting with different people, and contributing however I can. Whether it’s sharing a meal, learning how to say “thank you” in the local language, or helping out with daily life, I’m always eager to get involved and make a positive contribution.
