Hey there!

My name is Katharina, I’m 27 years old, and I’m passionate about mountains, horses, nature, and farm life. I’m looking to join outdoor projects abroad where I can help out, learn new skills, and experience everyday life on a farm.

In the future, I would love to have my own small farm, which is why I’m very curious to learn more about farming, animals, gardening, and all the practical things that come with running a place like this.

I’ve already done four different Workaways, each for at least one month, and I really enjoy staying longer in one place and becoming part of the daily life. During my previous experiences, I especially enjoyed taking care of horses, guiding horse tours for tourists, and working in the garden.

I’m open-minded, active, hands-on, responsible, and well organized. I’m happy to help with animal care, gardening, housework, cooking, and other farm tasks. I also enjoy learning practical skills and getting involved wherever help is needed.

Khamje is a beautiful place surrounded by stunning nature and so much peace. I am very grateful for the wonderful month I spent with Chhime and Ram. Staying with them gave me a beautiful insight into Tibetan culture and into a way of life that is closely connected to the mountains.

I had a wonderful and quite time on Skyros in April. The horses are lovely and calm, the nature and beaches beautiful and the food from the taverna amazing!
The work was mostly about feeding the horses, cutting branches, fixing streets and preparing the opening of the restaurant.
I am very thankful for the great time and your hospitality. :-)

Katharina stayed with us for three months she became like a member of the family.
