I'm inspired by people and motivated by everything I haven't done, seen or experienced yet.
I never took travelling for granted. The first time I stepped a foot on a plane was when I was 16, but since then I felt in love with the possibility of discovering the world. Before I would try to do that without the opportunity of leaving my homecountry - Poland - which at the end helped me become more appreciative of what I have and where I grew up. I love reading books, training different sports like tennis, volleyball or running, I devote a lot of my time to learning languages as well or working on one of my two podcasts about global issues and what is happening around the world. I love organizing events as well - with my initiative my school took part in an international mathematics competition on the other side of the ocean. That said, I think what brings me the most happiness is making what once seemed to be just a weird, unrealistic idea - a possibility for others. Thank you!

I’m Julia from Poland. I speak Polish and English fluently and self-studied Spanish and French on a B2 level - able to communicate and help beginners with these languages. I also have an A2 level in Italian and German (can communicate with basic vocabulary and have a strong understanding of these languages). My next goals are Russian and Portuguese and I’m eager to talk with others about the process of language learning, especially that it’s a big passion of mine!

What else ...

I’m doing my studies in Denmark currently after having studied in Poland and the United States. I’m interested in learning more about different education systems around the world as well as different practices that broaden our skills such - for example those offered by hosts - and I would like to learn more about such opportunities to later use that knowledge in my lifelong vision of creating spaces for young people where they learn by doing. Where they learn how to think rather than what to think. In that I see each experience at WorkAway extremely valuable and am motivated to engage in all kings of activities - always putting my whole heart into it.
