Hello :) my name is Marlene.
I am 20 years old and currentöy study Social Work. I would love to learn more about the world, and especially meet new people.

I would describe myself as a very outgoing, caring, reliable, cooperative and enthusiastic person. It is important to me to get to know people, to listen to them and to support them. As the youngest of four children, I am also a Family person. I love music, like to sing, play the piano and in my free time I like to take pictures with my analog camera. I also enjoy learning new languages and seeing the world from new perspectives. I would like to work in a team, get to know new people and cultures, while developing and learning in the process.

Since I went to a Waldorf school for the whole of my schooling, I was able to gain a lot of practical experience. At school, for example, we regularly had classes such as crafts, handicrafts or gardening.
I was also able to gain a lot of experience in the areas of agriculture and social affairs due to the many internships. In 2019, for example, I completed a three-week agricultural internship at the "Association Longo Mai, Mas de Granier" in southern France.
In 2021 I did a social internship at the Arche: l'Arche d'aigrefoin France, Saint-Rémy-les-Chevreuse, where I was able to live with people with disabilities.

At the age of 8 I spent a one year stay in the USA, New Orleans, Louisiana with my family, which enabled me to learn English at an early age. I also went to school there. My love for new encounters and languages came from spending time in a culture and language that was foreign to me. In addition to English, I also speak French and my mother tongue German.

In my free time I also like to be creative. I like to bake, cook or paint, for example :)

I love to play board games with my friends and family. I also love to read in my free time and think a lot about the world. I am also a cat person and have a great love for animals and the outdoors!
I´m currently in the process of getting my driver´s license.
